Share your stories of hauntings in AZ! I'll start off.

Well, anyone who's lived a while in Tucson and is actively interested in the paranormal has probably heard about the Pioneer Hotel. If you haven't, here's a basic story:

In December of 1970, a fire some believe was arson broke out in the Pioneer Hotel in downtown Tucson. Rescue teams worked throughout the night to try and save all within the building, however in the end 29 people lost thier lives. The Pioneer was renovated and now stands as an office building at the corner of Stone Ave and Pennington.

Current employees claim to still smell a strong scent of smoke from time to time. They also hear screaming and the sound of running feet upstairs, when no one else is around.

This is a favorite spot for local paranormal investigators and mediums because of the intense, albeit sad, residual energy.
